Brief: design a playground in a group of two students (with Nadia El-Hindi).
In order to create a dynamic playground, we got inspired by the Californian swimming pools. The water the decides who will be using the place. When the weather is warm, the paddle pool is filled for the younger children. The rest of the time, it is free for skaters.
We have a package of three different shapes for the paddle pools. Depending on the size of the playground we can can organize it with one, two or three of them. A line on the ground is linking all the elements together. It jumps out of the ground and dives in the pools in order to enhance the imaginary landscape or show the ideal skating line. The rails are thought to be used as as a sliding element.
